Love at first kiss is the story of two best friends, who were torn apart by unrevealed feelings for each other and a jealous boyfriend.

Stanley and Mediatrix used to be friends that was until she betrayed him. Years later, now Stanley is one of the hottest firefighters in town. Mr. Fire fighter world competition crosses their path again but Mediatrix, who has recently broke up with her boyfriend doesn't recognize Stanley. After a night filled with passion he leaves for his hometown.

Fate once again crosses their path after a few years and this time, Stanley learns that Mediatrix is back in town with her only son. And, she doesn't remember the stranger she had one-night stand with. Stanley also faces a situation that puts him in a dilemma. He must work around his insecurities and fear to go behind his one true love.

Mediatrix has got problems of her own. She is ridden with guilt for not standing up to her best friend when he needed her. Years later, when she meets him, he wasn't the same person she once knew. Her obnoxious boyfriend is back in town, threatening to ruin her life. She must face her overbearing mother, ex-boyfriend and her new flame. And, most of all that one secret that'd jeopardize her complicated relationship with Stanley.

The author once again hooks her readers with an engaging story. It is an enjoyable read. If you want a romance read with family drama, you must try this out. I loved the characters and the descriptive fire rescue missions adds life to the story.
