I've always loved a story of ex-lovers. Guarding Gwen is the story of Simon and Gwen. When Gwen shows up at Wilde securities, Eric knows there's more to the story Gwen is feeding him. A stalker is after Gwen and when he threatens her, she could only think of Simon. The only person she trusts even after he broke her heart.
Simon can't believe his eyes when Gwen walks up to him after all these years. He takes up the case and forces his way into Gwen's personal space. Her car explodes that night, forcing the couple to retreat to a safe house. Passion burns hot between them and the rest is as expected. But what I liked the most is the mystery about the perp. It's hard to guess who might be behind all the crimes.
I liked the twist and turns. Guarding Gwen is a good read for romantic suspense lovers.
