Review: Stealing Coal

Stealing Coal Stealing Coal by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is the last book I read in this series before abandoning it. I won't say this series isn't good, but it doesn't seem to fit my interests.

Anyway, this book follows the story of Coal. He is tortured and Jill saves him, risking her ship. No one knows that she is a female as she is doing the trade on the name of her father's name. But when her ship is attacked she has no option but to turn to Coal for help. There are few things I couldn't accept. Both of them have an abusive past and the scene where Coal basically force seduce her doesn't sit well with me. Doesn't things like this takes time? This entire series mainly focuses on sex and other emotions just play supporting roles. After a while into this series it just got hard to keep track of the characters, for there is really more and more being introduced in each book.

This book is a good read for those who love erotica.
